Advice to transform you into the BEST DIY Designer you can be!

So I’m good at a lot of things. Mostly because I’ve made most errors in entrepreneurial life that one can make.

As a marketing consultant, I always tell my clients to speak in the positive. Tell your potential client what you do well, your talents and skills. But sometimes its necessary to admit what is NOT in your wheelhouse! So here I go

What I won’t help with!

Typos
I am Queen of Typos and I never use apostrophes! So TCC will not give you feedback on Grammar and Spelling

Copywriting
So I make things look nice. But I do not write copy. Sure we can exchange some ideas… but copywriting is NOT my thing!

Social Media Planning
I can tell you how to improve your visuals but I can’t create a social media marketing plan. I can def recommend someone to you.

Graphic Design
Yes, Ive been designing for over 25 years, but Im not offering my design services right now. I have always tried to offer all of me to my clients. Right now, I can not commit to design projects right now.

Thats why I’m doing this! You can do it yourself with some guidance of course. Here’s how it will go.

scenario #1:
Once you have developed a skill set you can do it on your own or…

scenario #2
you have done so well designing things, you make so much money you can hire a full time designer. (But you will be able to tell if their designs are working for you)

“Working with Melanie @ Tivoli Creative is always a highly collaborative process. Whether it’s a website, postcards, or any other graphic design, Mel’s aesthetic eye and knowledge of what works for your business is unparalleled. ”

— Jaime Conroy, small business owner, mom and “friend from Queens”
